THE 2024 SHOW

Four teams of kids are dumped in remote bushland, to test their adventurous skills. Alone, no adults. What could go wrong?

Geelong Showtime 2024 is being organised and run by Camberwell Showtime. Camberwell Showtime is an annual performing arts activity for Scouts and Girl Guides in the Districts of Boroondara and Yarra in Melbourne and has been in operation for 60 years. The show is fully written and directed by young people (youth led and adult supported). Most script writers and composers are cast members, aged 11-26. All the songs and scripts are original. Unlike other theatre groups, Camberwell Showtime accepts everyone who applies. A team of Scout and Girl Guide leaders provides support and cast supervision. Every few years, it has become a tradition to take the show on a “Country Tour” - in the past performing in Bairnsdale, Warrnambool and Shepparton. Following the success of the 2019 and 2022 Geelong Showtime, the show is back again this year in Geelong.
